The Annual Conference & Business Expo is the Society’s premier event, featuring three days of educational sessions, off site tours, social networking opportunities, and an Exhibit Hall showcasing close to 100 vendors providing products and services to the industry.

NYSRPS offers top notch conferences and seminars, including youth development and at-risk prevention programs, Certified Playground Safety Inspector Institute, Annual Downstate Recreation Conference and a series of statewide, one-day seminars that change each year to address current issues.

Awards and Recognition
Garner notice for your outstanding programs, facilities, publications and/or employees. The NYSRPS Awards Program solicits nominations from its members, then recognizes winners at the Annual Awards Banquet.

Legislative Advocacy
NYSRPS will use the power of its membership to effectively support or oppose legislation affecting the parks, recreation and leisure service industry. NYSRPS utilizes its web site, email list serve and publications to inform members of current legislation affecting parks and recreation.

Stay up-to-date with industry changes through NYSRPS publications. The Voice magazine features articles from professionals within the industry. The Inside NYSRPS, Inc. newsletter keeps you current on what is happening around the state and features focus sections for each district. Two monthly electronic publications, eLink and eNewsletter, keep you informed of youth development issues and news statewide, respectfully.
