NFRPS Functions
The Niagara Frontier Recreation and Parks Society is established for the promotion of leisure services in Western New York.
NFRPS is comprised of professionals from throughout the leisure service industry who are interested in staying informed of events in the field at the local, state and national levels.
Our Functions Include:
Annual Western New York Recreation and Parks Conference Training Sessions for recreation personnel and volunteers Continuing Education Credits Community Leisure/Recreation Services Recognition Awards/Scholarships to outstanding individuals
| Professional, volunteer and student achievement Monthly meetings of the society membership Job referral - formal/informal District Status with NYSRPS Advocacy and association with local, state and federal legislators for voting and supporting Leisure Service issues
